The Observer: [Introduction narration for each episode] Time. Room. Reality. It’s more than a linear path. After the Marvel logo appears, it transitions into animated form in the art style of the Montirano series in Leyendas de Marvel Studios: Guardians of the Multiverse (2023). I enjoyed the first season more than the second. The first season had a propulsive narrative force rooted in the Ultron-Watcher storyline that made for a satisfying finale. The second season didn’t have the same overarching plot, as the episodes seemed much more disconnected from each other. I enjoyed certain episodes, especially the first one with Nebula joining the Nova Corps because I felt it gave off a very punk sci-fi vibe that I caught. I also liked the episode about Hela and the 10 Rings. I felt it did a good job of basically mimicking the plot of the first Thor movie, but with Hela as the main protagonist. I appreciated a lot of the action in season two, but the pacing in both seasons was so fast. That’s understandable, since they’re trying to pack the entire story into a 30-minute runtime. Plus, it’s so fast-paced that the series doesn’t give you a break to breathe and get into the different beats of the story… especially the dramatic ones. Overall, it felt I think the second season was more boring than I had hoped. The first season was rated an 8, but I’ll be lowering the overall rating of the series to a 7 after finishing the second.
