Pamela, on the other hand
Beautiful That WayWritten by Miley Cyrus, Lykke Li and Andrew WyattPerformed by Miley Cyrus. As soon as I heard about this movie, I thought of this year’s "material" Pamela Anderson and Demi Moore are both actresses who were huge stars in their youth and whose careers were "intimately tied" to their looks and the fact that they stopped getting roles in prestigious Hollywood productions at a certain age, but this year they got roles that allowed them to be on the lips of moviegoers again. However, Demi gave a fantastic performance in a very original and daring body horror, and her role will be remembered as one of the best comebacks in cinema history.
Pamela dances on the street in Las Vegas
well, she proves she can be a good dramatic actress in that movie, but she’s held back by the formulaic, risk-taking, and do-nothing movie itself. Put aside the completely unwritten secondary characters and delve into the psychology of the main character. There are some interesting plot threads, including: the performances they do in various clubs, the conflicts between the characters about what constitutes art and what constitutes pornography, but these interesting moments are quickly cut short for sentimental and pointless burger scenes.
I also don’t understand why the movie is so strangely blurry at times right from the start??
I didn’t like Jamie Lee Curtis in this one, who acts like she’s in a completely different movie than the others. The story is a bit predictable – we know how the conflicts between the characters are resolved and some elements introduced at the beginning will return at the end. I think it’s supposed to be part of the artistic vision, but it’s done so haphazardly and inconsistently that it seems like an accident.
You’ll probably watch it and forget about it soon enough
But at least "The Last Showgirl" is only 1 hour and 25 minutes long, so it’s not a tiring experience.
